What a delightful dog-friendly shop. I had a lovely chat to the person serving me and my fiancée was delighted with her sheep felting craft kit.

Fantastic shop. We called in when we were staying in Over Haddon, and the lady in the shop was very friendly and chatty. We bought a few items in shop, but really liked the unusual coat hooks, as it suited us both very well. As soon as we got home, we ordered it online, and 3 days later, it was delivered, safe and sound. And, is now a talking piece in our kitchen.

I chanced upon The British Emporium whilst spending the weekend in Bakewell, Derbyshire. The staff in store were super friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable about their stock. I purchased a waxed cotton waterproof hat. Good looks and a great price. I’ll be back!
