Made in Great Britain
Simplex Kettles by Newey & Bloomer are the leading British brand for whistling, solid copper tea kettles for over 100 years. They are manufactured in Birmingham – the heart of England – retaining manufacturing traditions that have been passed down over the generations. Only the purest and finest copper and brass is used and spin by hand. Each handmade spout is lined with tin, delicately curved in just the right places with a little ‘bird’s mouth’ spout at the end to ensure a smooth, optimum pour. Newey & Bloomer patented the Simplex Kettle design with a whistling lid in the early 1900s. Today, they continue to manufacture by hand to the same exacting standards to ensure the nostalgic sound of the Simplex Kettle whistle lives on for generations.
