During the 1950s the Beehive Blenheim range of Simplex Kettles was born, utilising a beehive design, it’s success was indeed sweet! With a distinctively loud whistle emanating from the spout our customers still think this solid copper kettle is the ‘bee’s knees’.
It takes nearly a month to create every individual Simplex tea kettle and the rich opulent tones of highly polished copper will certainly be a functional showpiece in any kitchen.
Proudly stamped with ‘Made in England’ on the base and when it’s time for tea – the Blenheim by Newey & Bloomer will whistle to let you know it’s time to stop and take time out for tea!
The Beehive Blenheim kettle is perfect for use on both gas and electric stoves, please note that these are not suitable for use on induction hobs without an induction hob adaptor.

Simplex Kettles by Newey & Bloomer are the leading British brand for whistling, solid copper tea kettles for over 100 years. The kettles are manufactured in Birmingham – the heart of England – retaining manufacturing traditions that have been passed down over the generations. Only the purest and finest copper and brass is used and spin by hand. Each handmade spout is lined with tin, delicately curved in just the right places with a little ‘bird’s mouth’ spout at the end to ensure a smooth, optimum pour. Newey & Bloomer patented the Simplex Kettle design with a whistling lid in the early 1900s.
