Surrounded by beauty and art, fashion and architecture, the scene forms a natural backdrop for the scent’s timeless vibrancy. Floris White Rose was originally created in the early 1800s. It was crafted at our Jermyn Street shop in London by Mr John Floris. The fragrance was a favourite of Florence Nightingale. She had bottles shipped out to her while nursing in the Crimea war. You can read a treasured letter from Florence in our Jermyn Street shop, where it is on display. In the letter, she expresses her gratitude to Mr Floris and her favourite fragrance, White Rose.
